Glebe
|
Glebe is one of Sydney’s oldest and most beautiful suburbs, located at the base of Sydney’s Central Business District (CBD). Glebe point is unique; even though it is only minutes from Sydney’s CBD, it has the vibe and feel of a leafy suburb. It has been described as a bohemian treasure tucked away in the inner city suburbs, with tree lined streets cottages and terraces it truly is a one of Sydney’s most beautiful suburbs. Glebe has a thriving alternative culture, due to the large amount of share-house and student population. Jubilee Park and Sydney Harbour borders Glebe to the north, Sydney University and Newtown at the south, and the CBD to the east. Glebe is a backpacker’s oasis with heaps of cheap eats, cafes, second-hand clothing and bookstores.
